Walk & Talk Therapy
I am here for you: Life can be quite the challenge; there are situations we never expected, struggles we couldn't have prepared for, and circumstances we find ourselves overwhelmed by. All too frequently, I hear from people that they didn't know what to do, or who to talk to, or how they ended up in a place where the world isn't making sense. In these times, people tend to feel trapped, beaten down, alone, exhausted, or just at a loss, and often have tried everything they can think of to re-order, heal, and reorient their lives. Connecting with a counsellor can help. I offer a space for you to speak freely and you'll be met with acceptance and support. Whatever is happening for you, I believe we can change your life for the better. I can help you adjust perspective, make shifts, and find meaning in life in a way that is healing and helpful for you.

Service
Counselling sessions are offered by video conferencing or phone at this time, or by Walk & Talk Therapy in Port Moody. For video & phone sessions, I am accepting individuals, couples, and families. Virtual counselling can be as effective as in person counselling.I have availability in the early morning, early afternoon, and evening most days of the week; check my scheduled here. For Walk & Talk Therapy, an initial phone or video intake session is required to assess suitability. Many people appreciate the experience of having a therapy session outdoors walking side-by-side with a counsellor, and the evidence shows that it is as effective.
Other
Outside of my private practice, I live a very full and normal life (just human). I have a full time job, children, a husband, two dogs, and a collection of wonderful friends and family. I run my private practice on the side because I absolutely love what I do, and I can't imagine my life without it - it is an incredibly meaningful and important piece of my life to be with people on their journey and see people's lives change in ways they never knew was possible and shift into a healthier, fulfilled, and meaningful life. I love hearing people own their value, mindset, choices, and noting the skills, insight, and self-compassion that will carry them forward. I am also a content contributor for the Thinkladder App (provides alternate thoughts for limiting beliefs, and is free), and enjoy spending time in nature, sipping hot beverages, and laughing (so much laughing).
